Parent-Teacher Association

Foothills Elementary is fortunate to have an active PTA. Invaluable support from parents, guardians, teachers, and school staff allow the PTA to sponsor the Back to School Night BBQ, school directory, Reflections Art Program, and science fair, just to name a few events and programs. The PTA has contributed to school improvement by purchasing SMART boards, having murals painted in the school gym, and planting flowers in the barrels in the front of the school. PTA has also been able to provide assistance for many school programs and activities, such as, Kindergarten Graduation, 6th Grade Continuation, Outdoor Lab, school assemblies, and lunch loans.

We would love to have you find out what your PTA is all about and join our team. The best way to do that is to attend a meeting. Everyone is encouraged to attend the PTA/FIT meetings. PTA meetings are an excellent way to meet the principal, staff, other parents, and to learn about PTA events and programs. You do not have to be a member to attend the meetings, although you must be a member to vote during the meetings.
